Here we present real images from the TapeStation of the Sigma Aldrich PCR 20bp Low Ladder (P1598), mixed with Lab901’s D800 loading buffer and separated on ScreenTape D800. Use of the ‘run further’ option after the standard electrophoresis protocol allows the user to extend the profile within the lane and increase the resolution between bands. The lane was imaged after 213 seconds (standard electrophoresis run time), after a further 139 seconds and again after an additional 137 seconds (total separation time 489 seconds).
