David Hughes, Investor Director

A chartered certified accountant and graduate of Bristol University with a first class degree in Chemistry, David has extensive experience of investing in and supporting the development of both private and public companies across a variety of sectors and also achieving successful exits through sale or listing. Besides providing development capital for growing technology based companies, David has backed both MBOs and MBIs and funded acquisitions. He is a director on the board of a number of Foresight Group’s investee companies. David has some 32 years' venture capital and corporate finance experience gained principally at 3i. He has also worked at Framlington, Bank Austria and most recently at Advent Venture Partners.
