John Waddell, Investor Director

A lawyer, originally in private practice, now Chief Executive of Archangel Informal Investment, John Waddell has wide ranging UK and international business experience. He became the youngest partner in niche law firm, Steedman Ramage at the age of 27, leaving there to become Assistant Company Secretary and in-house lawyer at Christian Salvesen plc where he was appointed to the Management Board and ran a large number of substantial transactions. He then spent three years at Bank of Scotland, Corporate Banking, latterly as Head of Strategic Planning, before joining Merchant Bank, Noble Grossart Ltd, where he was a Director, in 2001.
